The terms behind the directory
Effective July 26, 2026. By using Verified Local Movers, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Our role
Verified Local Movers operates a directory and advertising publication. We are not a household-goods broker, motor carrier, booking service, dispatcher, agent of a listed company, or party to any moving estimate, bill of lading, payment, claim, or contract. A listed mover controls its own services, availability, pricing, crews, equipment, terms, and performance.
Profiles and verification
VLM Verified means we reviewed specified information as of the date shown. Records can change, public sources can be incomplete, and documents can expire. Verification is not government approval, a professional certification, or a guarantee of availability, legality, safety, price, quality, or future performance. You remain responsible for independently evaluating a mover and reviewing your contract.
Sponsored placements
Eligible movers may pay a fixed advertising fee for the sole featured placement in a defined market. Sponsored status is disclosed and does not replace verification. We may suspend or remove a profile or placement when information changes, expires, or raises material concerns.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful personal or business research. You may not misuse forms, submit false information, impersonate another person or business, interfere with site operation, harvest data at scale, bypass access controls, or use our content or marks in a way that suggests an unauthorized endorsement.
Third-party services
The site links to movers, regulators, and other third parties. Their sites, statements, services, contracts, and privacy practices are their responsibility. A link does not make us a party to your relationship with them.
Disclaimers and limitation
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every item is error-free or current. To the extent permitted by law, Verified Local Movers is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for the acts, omissions, property damage, delays, pricing, or disputes of a listed company. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms by posting a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions may be sent to legal@verifiedlocalmovers.com.
